Boy oh Boy am I OUT of it....

when it comes to hip and cool music. I realized it when I was so excited about this brand new song I just heard and found out it was at least 2 years old. So, I am in desperate need of help. Can you gals help me by posting a dozen or so songs that are your favorites and are recent?

Kids play at the wedding...

Karen's and Mike's wedding was a lot of fun and was in beautiful St. George. Did I ever say how much I love St. George? I am still trying to convince Ian that trading the pines in for the red rock is a must. After the rehearsal dinner the kids played at the golf course. It was so beautiful there and they loved running around making up all sorts of games. Here are some pictures of our silly crew.

De-Fence, clap, clap, clap....

It's about that time -- yeah for football season! Since we moved to Pinetop too late last year, the boys missed the football season so this year we made sure that we registered early. The boys love it -- Kadan the hard hitter defensive end and Hunter the ball carrier. Addy also joined in the fun as a cheerleader and loves "standing on hands."

Just a few shots at the scrimmage game -- first game is this weekend.

This was most absolutely beautiful sunset

with all the colors of the rainbow and pillars of light streaming from the top of the clouds. It made me think about the 2nd coming. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to just stop and reflect on this beauty with Hunter, Kadan, Aunt Ginger and her new cute hubby.

Fun new Comfort chairs

We just designed these down wing back chairs and linen 72" bench. The chair slipcover is in white cotton and the back is a thick linen with a custom stamp (No. 6 stands for my 6 member family and another damask pattern on the back of the other chair). The cozy bench was also to die for -- love the nailhead detail.

A mother's best moment...

comes with each birth, each baptism, each little heart to heart talk with your little ones. I have been blessed with so many of these best moments lately.

Kadan's baptism was beautiful and I am so proud of him. We have had many mom and son talks over the last few days and each one touched my heart. He is so inquisitive now and tries so hard to do what is right. He is a sweet and wise boy.

Tonight we were reading the scriptures together (Kadan has a goal to read all the scriptures starting with Genesis) and had a precious moment. We talked about Jesus and talked about how Kadan was trying to follow his example. He then said, "Jesus is the greatest person on the Earth." He then started to talk about Jesus' Mom.

"Mom," he said, "Do you think that Jesus' Mom was the best mom on the earth?" I thought for a moment and said, "I bet she was the most amazing mom on the earth." Kadan then shook his head, smiled up and me and said, "No, I don't think she was the best mom because you are the best mom on the earth. Maybe she was second best."

I just love this little boy. He is so forgiving and so loving. I hope to be a righteous mother to him so he will continue to be proud of me. Love you Kadan.
